Hard-throwing right-hander Colt Griffin was given his Kansas City Royals jersey Wednesday afternoon with a big “45” on the back.Colt-45 is officially a Royal.The high-school phenom signed a deal with Kansas City and will report immediately to the club’s Class-A affiliate in Spokane, Washington.Though he’s pitched for only a year, Griffin was a much-heralded talent who reportedly hit the radar gun at 100 mph.
