Javy Lopez blasted a two-run home run in the second inning and that proved to be enough as the Atlanta Braves beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 last night. Despite the loss, the Cardinals still take two of three in this series with the Braves. Tom Glavine (11-5) improves to 15-5 in his carer against the Cardinals after going six innings, allowing just the one run on three hits.
