The State Transportaiton Department is moving ahead with plans to spend $6.2-billion over the next five years for roads, bridges, and other transportation projects. Commissioners have approved the spending plan that includes money for peojects aimed at improving Interstate 70. Many of the projects in this latest plan are part of the 15-year plan of 1992.
