Agriculture Task Force Set To Begin Series Of Hearings

Members of the Governor’s Task Force on Agriculture will hold a series of hearings, beginning tonight, at locations throughout the state. The hearings will be held over the next month. The first is set for St. Joseph tonight with the state hoping to get feedback from the state’s farmers and livestock producers on the contentious issue of livestock pricing. The hearings will conclude in mid-August at the State Fair in Sedalia.
