Governor Kenny? Hulshof Tight-Lipped About Ambitions

July 5, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

For a while, it was thought northeast Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof might run, next year, for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Jean Carnahan. He rejected that idea, saying he’ll focus on re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives next year. Now, there is speculation Hulshof might be the ideal Republican challenger to Governor Bob Holden in 2004. Hulshof isn’t saying much, preferring to say he he focused only on re-election to the House next year.
