Cardinals Open Series in Milwaukee

July 3, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The St. Louis Cardinals will try to snap their five-game losing streak tonight when they visit Milwaukee for the first of three. The Redbirds have lost 11 of their last 12 on the road and they are just 2-5 against the brewers in 2001. Overall, St. Louis is 40-40 on the season as they send 6-7 righthander Dustin Hermanson to the hill. Hermanson has lost six of his last seven decisions. The Brewers will start Jimmy Haynes.
