Royals Drop 4-2 Decision to Tribe

Bartolo Colon overpowered the Kansas City Royals on Sunday, striking out nine in six innings to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 4-2 win. With the victory, Colon improves to 6-6 on the season. Jeff Suppan (3-7) was solid on the hill for Kansas City in defeat. The righthander allowed all four Indian runs on ten hits in 5 2/3 innings of work. John Rocker made his Cleveland debut and pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. Joe Randa was the lone bright spot at the plate for Kansas City. He homered and knocked in the Royals other run with a sacrifice fly.
