Holden Signs 2002 Fiscal Year Budget

Governor Bob Holden has signed the state $19.3-billion operating budget for the 2002 Fiscal Year. In balancing the budget, Holden vetoed more than $36-million in spending. In addition, he’s asking state agencies to generate more than $200-million in spending cuts during the coming fiscal year, which begins July 1st.
