Triple-A Missouri is touting the success of graduated driver licenses, a system that has been in effect in Missouri since January. Triple-A’s Mike Right says that while it is too early to have results on the effectiveness of the program, data from other states with similar systems show positive results. Under the system, young drivers begin with a learner’s permit, move onto an intermediate permit with a few restrictions, then graduate to a license with full driving privileges.
