Missouri’s latest drug problem has been added to the state’s law against illegal drugs. It’s called Ecstasy, because it produces a feeling of euphoria and gives an energy burst. But those who take it eventually crash from dehydration and increased body temperature. Euphoria usually turns to depression. The energy burst wears off and anxiety sets in. A bill approved by the Legislature has been signed into law by Governor Holden, making Ecstasy the latest on the list of illegal drugs in Missouri.
