The Department of Corrections is considering moving its execution chamber from the Potosi prison to the new prison in Bonneterre. Department Spokesman Tim Kniest says Potosi was never built with executions in mind, and the new Bonneterre facility was designed with an execution chamber. He says the idea is only an option at this stage – no final decision has been made.
