State lawmakers this session re-drew Congressional districts in line with new census figures. Now, an 18-member panel is tackling a much tougher task. A special apportionment commission is taking on redistricting in the Missouri House. Northern Missouri is shrinking, as are the two metro areas. At the same time, southern Missouri is growing. The Commission has held public hearings in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield. It holds a final meeting Friday in Columbia.
