Missouri’s higher education officials want a united system and they are working toward that goal. A report entitled Building One System has been adopted by the Coordinating Board for Higher Education. A spokesman says it’s a final look at a strategic plan adopted in 1996 to get the various colleges and universities in the state to work more closely together. One example is the new electronic library that brings together nearly fifty academic library holdings on line.
