Prescription Drug Task Force Taking Shape

June 7, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The task force being set up by Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell to put together ideas for a drug prescription plan for senior citizens is coming together. And, Maxwellhopes to have a model for a comprehensive plan in place in time for this fall’s special session of the Legislature. Maxwell is quick to point out that while he wants his drug plan in place by September, he does not expect lawmakers to rush to sigh off on the proposal. He says his proposal will not be etched in stone, adding there will be plenty of room for discussion from all interested parties.
