Bond Promises To Push Agenda Despite Change In Senate

June 6, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Democrats are now officially in control of the U.S. Senate, but Republicans are not about to abandon their plans. Senator Christopher Bond says the make-up of the Senate remains as it was two weeks ago with the same 100 members. He expects there will be horse trading to get legislation passed. Bond’s only real concern is with Bush Administration judicial nominations. He’s concerned the Democrats might bottle-up those nominations in committee and refuse to bring to a floor vote.
