After getting swept in Anaheim, the Kansas City Royals return to Kauffman Stadium tonight to open a nine-game homestand with the first of three against the Chicago White Sox. Dan Reichert will get the start tonight against Chicago’s Kip Wells. Reichert leads the Royals staff in victories (5-4) and has a fine 3.49 ERA this season. Wells is 1-2 for the Sox. The Royals come into play tonight with a 20-36 record, that’s good for last in the American League Central.
