Ramon Ortiz allowed just one earned run in 7 2/3 innings of work to lead the Anaheim Angels past the Kansas City Royals 7-2 on Sunday. The Angels complete a weekend sweep of Kansas City in the process. The Royals were victimized by the longball in this one as Anaheim hit four home runs, two by Tim Salmon. Mac Suzuki took the loss for Kansas City, allowing five runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings of work to take the loss, he falls to 2-5. A.J. Hinch homered in defeat for the Royals who fall to 20-36 on the season.
