The Kansas City Royals scored all their runs in the first three innings, coasting to an easy 11-2 win over the Texas Rangers in Arlington on Wednesday. The Royals struck for six in the first, cracking seven straight hits after Ranger starter Pat Mahones had retired the first two batters. Dee Brown had the biggest blow, a three-run home run. Carlos Beltran added a three-run dinger in the third inning. All this offense made life easy for Dan Reichert. The right-hander improved to 5-4 on the season with 7 1/3 innings of work. He allowed two runs on nine hits. Same two teams this afternoon in the final game of this three game series.
