Supporters Of Drunk Driving Legislation Await Governor’s Signature

Long-time supporters of a crackdown on drunk driving in Missouri are pleased with the success in getting .08 legislation through the House and Senate during the recently-completed session. They’re now awaiting Governor Holden’s signature. Senator Morris Westfall of Halfway and Representative Craig Hosmer of Springfield have toiled for years to lower the intoxication level from .10 to .08, and are pleased with their accomplishment after years of failure.
