Study Finds Women At Greater Risk Of Stroke Following Heart Surgery

Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis are talking up the findings of studies they’ve been conducting on strokes. And, it turns out there is a link between stroke and women who have undergone heart surgery. A woman is more likely than a man to suffer a stroke after having had heart surgery. Despite the finding, doctors are unable to say why the link exists.
