Onandi Lowe made his MLS debut a memorable one, scoring the only goal of the game during stoppage time, lifting the Kansas City Wizards past the New York/New Jersey MetroStars 1-0 on Thursday. Lowe had been signed by the Wizards just a day earlier. With the win, the Wizards snap a three-game losing streak and improve their record to 4-4-1. Tony Meola made four saves in net to record the shutout, his third of the season.
