Water Patrol Gears Up For Big Boating Weekend

The State Water Patrol is ready for the first big boating weekend of the summer season. The boating season actually has been underway long enough for some accidents, injuries, deaths, and drunken boating arrests for people using drugs while boating. Missouri already is ahead of last year’s pace in drunken boating and drug arrests on the waterways. As far as accidents go, they’re down. But the Water Patrol fears some boaters have gotten a little rusty over the winter … and so have their boats.
