Children’s Advocacy Group Reflects On Session As One Of Mixed Results

A group focused on the interests of Missouri’s kids is looking back on the just-completed session of the Legislature, saying the session produced mixed results. Among the things the group sees as positive developments: lawmakers passed legislation that will improve low income children’s access to dental care. On the negative side, the group is disappointed with lawmakers’ failure to approve a lont-term spending plan for Missouri’s share of money from the national tobacco settlement.
