Missouri’s two United States Senators have voted in favor of the Bush Administration’s $1.35-trillion tax cut package. Senator Christopher Bond had supported the proposal all along. Senator Jean Carnahan voted in favor of the bill, but says she is not completely satisfied with it. The legislation now goes to a House-Senate conference committee. Carnahan says she will not support the final product if it differes too greatly from the package she supports.
