Zero Eight Back To Senate

Years of resistance have melted away and a proposal to drop the drunk driving standard has easily passed the House and is headed back to the Senate. No longer would the official intoxication level be .10, but .08. There are concerns the changes could cost the state $5-million in highway construction funds, which would be shifted to highway safety if the final version does not meet federal dictates.
