Chad Durbin twirled seven strong innings, allowing two runs to win his second straight start as the Kansas City Royals beat Tampa Bay 4-2 last night. With the win, the Royals complete their first series sweep of the season. Roberto Hernandez pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his seventh save for Kansas City. Royals didn’t do a lot with the bats, but they were the beneficiary of some wildness by Rays starter Brian Rose (0-2). Rose wild pitched home two of the Royal runs.
