The University of Oregon has received permission from Southwest Missouri State to talk with Lady Bear head basketball coach Cheryl Burnett about their current opening. Burnett was in Oregon yesterday to watch Jackie Stiles and the Portland Fire play Minnesota in exhibition WNBA action. Burnett has been in Springfield for 14 seasons as a head coach, 17 overall. She led SMS to the Final Four this past campaign.
