Albert Pujols and Booby Bonilla each homered, leading the St. Louis Cardinals past the Pittsburgh Pirates last night 8-3. The win was the eighth in a row for St. Louis, they now lead the National League Central by a game over Houston. Dustin Hermanson put forth a strong outing on the hill for the Cards, he allowed just two runs on eight hits in seven innings of work to improve to 4-1 on the campaign. St. Louis is now 5-0 this season against the Pirates.
