There’s been a lot of talk on the health front about breakthroughs in the fight atgainst cancer. Now, Missourians are being advised clinical trials leading to promising treatments are available, but not being used by cancer patients. It’s thanks to clinical trials that we;ve been hearing about vaccines that shrink tumors and stop the spread of cancer cells. The Coalition of National Cancer Cooperative Groups says the trials for all forms of are available. The most common deadly cancer in Missouri is lung cancer. Other leading killer cancers in the state include prostate cancer, breast cancer, and colorectal cancer.
