President Bush unveils his much-anticipated energy policy Thursday and Missourians who suffered through a winter of skyrocketing natural gas prices will be paying close attention. Warren wood, Chairman of the Missouri Public Service Commission’s Natural Gas Price Task Force, says there is no shortage of natural gas. He says it is all a matter of satisfying the demand for the gas. Bush’s policy is expected to call for more development of natural resources. Wood says that will help bring the pentiful supplies of natural gas to consumers, but might upset many environmentalists who believe any development is bad. Wood hopes the Bush policy will strike a balance.
