Time is running out on the current legislative session and on lawmakers trying to get their pieces of legislation passed. House members have been anxious about the pace of the Senate and are worried the Senate won’t deal with House bills in time for them to get passed by the 6pm Friday deadline. In order to get their packages passed, lawmakers have attached several of them as amendments to legislation that is being considered.
