The Kansas City Royals scored four runs in the top of the first inning last night in Cleveland. That was the end of the evening’s highlights for the visitors. Cleveland tied the game by the bottom of the second and won it with four runs in the seventh, Indians take an 8-4 decision. Juan Gonzalez and Jim Thome each knocked in three runs in the win for Cleveland. Dave Burba went seven innings to earn the win for the Indians. Tony Cogan takes the loss out of the bullpen for Kansas City. Last night’s loss drops the Royals record to perennial AL powers Cleveland and New York to 0-10 this season.
