The stage is set for a compromise on a new definition of drunk driving. The State Senate has passed its version of the law lowering the threshhold for drunk driving to .08. The House passed its own version. It’s expected negotiators from the two chambers will draft a final version. The Legislature is expected to work on the final version next week.
