The Cleveland ndians unloaded on the Kansas City Royals pitching staff to the tune of five home runs, winning 13-2 on Tuesday. Ellis Burks, Ed Taubensee, Juan Gonzalez, Marty Cordova and Russell Branyan all went yard for the Tribe as a trio of Royal pitchers took turns getting battered. Chad Durbin started for KC and allowed seven runs in four innings in his first appearance of 2001. Blake Stein and Doug Henry each allowed three runs in relief. The Royals see their three game winning streak come to a screetching halt with the defeat. Tonight Mac Suzuki takes the hill for the Royals against C.C. Sabathia for Cleveland.
