M.U. Arena Decision Could Boost Hopes For St. Louis Ballpark

A recent House vote in favor of a new basketball arena at the University of Missouri could bode well for those supporting a new ballpark for downtown St. Louis. Veteran St. Louis Representative Quincy Troup warns colleagues that lobbyists for the St. Louis stadium project will see the House vote as an encouraging sign. The House approved issuing $35-million in revenue bonds to build the new M.U. arena.
