Governor Shakes Up Law Enforcement Team

Governor Bob Holden has revamped the state’s law enforcement team. New agency heads include Gary Kempker, who is moving from Public Safety Director to State Corrections Director, taking over from Dora Schriro;Highway Patrol Captain charles Jackson is targeted to replace Kempker as head of Public Safety; Highway Patrol Major Roger Stottlemyre becomes the new patrol superintendent; and Jerry Adams, the Chief of Detectives for the St. Louis County Police Department, is slated to be the water patrol superintendent.
