Joe Randa cranked a three-run home run in the 11th inning to give the Kansas City Royals an 11-8 win over the Boston Red Sox. Royals take two out of three over the weekend at Fenway. Jermaine Dye set the stage for Randa’s heroics by tying the game in the 9th with a solo dinger. Jose Santiago (1-0) twirled a scoreless inning in relief to pick up the win. Roberto Hernandez earned his fifth save.
