Darryl Kile baffled the New York Mets with eight innings of six hit ball and he added a two-run double as the St. Louis Cardinals bombed the New York Mets 12-1 on Sunday. Kile improved to 4-2 with his performance, which included five strikeouts. At the plate, Mike Matheny led the way with three runs batted in. The Cards were also sharp with the gloves as well. St. Louis turned four double plays in the win.
