Marty Reasoner and Scott Young scored first-period goals and goalie Roman Turek made them stand up as the St. Louis Blues defeated the Dallas Stars 2-1 on Sunday, taking a two-games to none lead in the best-of-seven Western conference semifinal series. Turek made 28 saves between the pipes and he kept the Stars off the scoreboard until the final minute of the third period when Joe Nieuwendyk beat him. The Blues held Dallas to an 0-5 performance on the power-play. St. Louis has now killed off all 34 power plays opportunities its opponents have enjoyed during the playoffs.Game #3 is tommorrow night in St. Louis.
