Bond Calls For Accountability In Education Spending

Education is a major topic of discussion in Washington, D.C., this week as Senators consider the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The outcome of the discussions could determine how many federal dollars will be headed to school districts in Missouri and elsewhere. Senator Christopher Bond has concerns about the way federal money is currently spent. He favors giving school districts greater flexibility, but expects accountability in return.
