PEER Report On Education Released

April 24, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Chamber of Commerce has released its Public Education Evaluation Report (PEER), which is intended to be a tool to initiate discussion and improvement to public education in Missouri. The report is not intended to rank the state’s school districts, but it does compare and contrast. It gives Missourians and school districts an opportunity to see what other districts are doing that’s right, giving them a chance to make changes if they so desire. The Chamber of Commerce is involved with PEER for a number of reasons. Among them, it believes quality public education can be an incredible asset in terms of economic development.
