Benjamin Demps has had enough. He’s resigned as Kansas City Schools Superintendent, and has been replace by Doctor Bernard Taylor on an interim basis. Demps was fired by five members of the nine member school board Wednesday, and was ordered reinstated by a federal judge the following day. Some members of the board had appealed the reinstatement order to the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. But, Demps won’t wait to hear the results of the legal wrangling. He’s decided to call it quits.
