NFL Draft Begins Saturday

Tommorow’s first round of the NFL Draft should be lots of fun for anyone who likes football in Missouri. Tiger standout defensive end Justin Smith is expected to be a top-five pick. Smith says he does not care what team drafts him, but he plans to start right away. The Kansas City Chiefs hold the 12th overall pick and continue to try and trade for St. Louis Rams back-up quarterback Trent Green. The Rams want a 1st and 3rd round pick for Green. St. Louis already has two first round picks. They are currently slated to select 20th and 29th overall, the 29th pick having been acquired from Tennessee in the Kevin Carter deal. he draft will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The San Diego Chargers hold the top pick.
