Another day, another ninth-inning collapse for the Kansas City Royals. Last night the Minnesota twins scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to edge the Royals 6-5. Corey Koskie’s two-run single off of Jason Grimsley won the game for the Twins. Grimsley was pitching the ninth because closer Roberto Hernandez was unavailable after throwing 70 pitches over the past three games. The Royals are now 4-10 and they have lost three games in the ninth inning. They wrap up their three game series in Minnesota at 12:05 p.m.
