Blues Fall in San Jose – Series Now Even

The San Jose Sharks scored three times in the second period and that proved to be enough as they beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Tuesday night, evening their best-of-seven Western Conference playoff series at two games apiece. The Blues got goals from Keith Tkachuk and Dallas Drake in defeat. The big story in this game was the play of Sharks goalie Miikka Kiprusoff. Making just his second NHL start ever, he kicked away 39 shots to earn the win between the pipes. The critical Game #5 match-up will Thursday night in St. Louis.
