The Minnesota twins have lost three games in 12 tries this season. All three are to the Kansas City Royals. Last night, KC held off the Twins 5-3 behind 6 1/3 strong innings from righthander Dan Reichert. Reichert won his first decision of the season by allowing just three runs on eight hits while on the hill. Roberto Hernandez got the final three outs for his third save, second in as many days. Jermaine Dye and Mark Quinn each hit two-run home runs to power the offense. The Royals improve to 4-9 on the season. They will battle Minnesota again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
