Partisanship Is In Again At The State Capitol

Missouri lawmakers are back in Jefferson City following the Easter break and they are returning to some partisan bickering over several issues. The legislative session began with a lot of talk of bipartisanship – especially in the House. But charges and counter-charges have divided Democrats and Republicans. The GOP accuses the Democrats of using strong-arm tactics to push through legislation; the Democrats say the Republicans are allowing a dispute with Governor Holden to stand in the way of their legislative duties.
