SkyDome Falls on Royals, Jays

April 13, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Yesterday’s game between the Royals and Blue Jays was postponed because of raining . . . debris. Pieces of the roof at SkyDome fell to the ground hours before the game after two of the large panels collided while the roof was being opened. No one was injured in the incident. The Royals and Blue Jays are scheduled to play this afternoon at 3:05 p.m. Officials are hopeful that repairs can be made to the roof in time to play today’s contest.
