Senate Ponders Power Of Secretary Of State In Election Fraud Cases

Questions of how much power the Secretary of State should have in election fraud cases are being asked in the State Senate. Senator Anita Yeckel of St. Louis wants to let the Secretary of State subpoena records and people in cases involving suspected election fraud. But some Senators complain her bill would make a person who administers elections into some kind of election cop.
