Alfonso Soriano wnet 4-4 with a home run and three runs batted in to lead the New York Yankees to yet another win over the Kansas City Royals yesterday 8-5. The Royals fall to 2-7 on the season and they lost all six games they played with New York this season. The two teams will not play again in 2001. Brian Meadows takes the loss for Kansas City, allowing five runs in six innings of work. Meadows is now 0-2. Mark Quinn and Carlos Beltran homered in defeat for K.C. Royals visit Toronto for the first of four tonight.
